Monday a.m. at the shop

Today is drizzly and quite. I have mike in the office making our monthly phone calls. This is where we print out a list of all the birthdays anniversaries, etc from July of the previous year. We remind our customers that they ordered flowers last july and wanted to know if they would like to order again.

Kenny just picked up some orders that are going out in boca raton for today.

I'm standing here typing while im stuffing my face...isnt that what we all do when we are bored??? Been raining everyday, i feel i should be outside selling umbrella's and rubbariffics( old green boots we used to wear in ny when it snowed)

Doing a little more marketing today while its slow.

Jeff is coming by later to take a few orders to delray...

Josh (me) 39yrs young and very immature(still) Head designer, marketer, problem solver, referree, customer service mgr, etc. 22 years design experience, yes i started young, and currently in business since July, 1992. I am a perfectionist who believes in customer service, quality at an ubeatable price. I go above and beyond for my customers and always have. Huge yankee fan since 1977

Mike -59 Delivers our south runs- Order taker, processes flowers, organizes the deliveries, confirms addresses, even though our point of sale system does that, helps customers, does payroll and pays vendors...he kinda wears many hats, but still comes to me for final approval on everything. Boston red sux ( ha ha) fan...whoa its fun here. Mike hates florida and just about everything else except for sports...must be nice in his world..

Kenny-58 Main driver for Boca raton. Kenny is an extremely intelligent guy. He doesn't need to work, he does it to keep busy. He will always get the flowers delivered. He knows all the tricks, even so much as checking the palm beach property appraiser website for accurate information. Between kenny and myself, we get it all done and done right.

Dennis-57 Main designer under me. Dennis has 50 yrs design experience. He grew up in his fathers' florist and is an excellent designer. Not exactly normal, but who is these days.

Joe-77 The oldest of the bunch at 77 or so....hey, does it really matter anymore over 60? Joe has over 60 yrs experience. Not exactly the fastest designer in the business, but does quality work and has a wealth of experience. Joe is also a huge red sux fan. Joe does amazing funeral work and an all around great guy...oh, he cannot hear to well so we are always yelling, lol..btw, joe's wife sheila is a great cook..mmmmmmm

Jeff - 49 Jeff is our Sunday driver and our back up during the week. Jeff is just as good, if not better than kenny...Don't tell kenny i said so. One year, Jeff did 140 deliveries in a single 24 hour period...whoa...in this traffic and those gated communities too!!!

Publio- 45- Publio or $%^$#%#$! as we like to call him, is our north driver. He owns a delivery company and takes all our deliveries north of Delray beach, fl.

Karen- 27 Karen is our holiday girl. She comes in and works her butt off every holiday. Karen is the only lady of the group and must put up with all our jokes, etc..she's a trooper.
